Default Re: Seattle Casinos/Poker Rooms

I have the same reply to all of these threads re: Seattle low limit casinos. Goldies in Shoreline, near 145th. Great people, good games, great comps.

For non-tribal casinos, I'd definitely agree, even though the place's smoke smell has been replaced with a stale smoke smell (those walls need a good scrubbing and the carpet a good cleaning).

Parkers is nice and loose too, with some spewy regulars. But I understand why people would be attracted to the tribals - to say the "action" ambience is lacking in the smaller cardrooms is like saying a Toyota Echo might not beat a Porsche off the line.

The Muck in particular feels like playing at an older Vegas room - but they absolutely HAVE to ditch those vinyl chairs that make you feel as if you've wet yourself after a couple of hours. Oddly, the smaller rooms have much more comfortable seating.
