I never heard of most of the people mentioned so far. Let's get back on track:

When Paul Newman is giving his closing argument in "The Verdict", the climax of the movie, one of the extras sitting in the courtroom audience is young, unknown Bruce Willis.

That blonde guitarist from Heart is the chick in the Corvette laughing at Judge Reinhold's pirate outfit in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" (she was married to the producer, or the director, or somebody). And just about everyone already knows that Nicolas Cage was Reinhold's buddy in a few scenes (no lines).

Pool great Willie Mosconi, who served as technical advisor for "The Hustler", has a cameo in the film. Gleason orders, "Rack 'em, Willie," and Mosconi dutifully racks 'em up.
