Checking this option will move the hand histories that PT has loaded into the db to another folder, it can be any folder.
Having this option checked can help speed up import times because PT will have fewer files to check. I assume PT uses some combination of the checking the hand numbers of the hand and the time the file was last written too. But it is faster if you do not leave months of old files in the main folder it will load hands faster because it won't have to keep checking a long list of files to see if they have new hands.
