Default Re: Sushi eating competition

Strangley enough I had a sushi eating - one on one - contest yesterday.

It was at Funayama Japanese Restaurant in NYC
(24 Greenwich Avenue - between 10th St & Charles St)
$30 per person including tax and tip - AYCE deal on Mondays and Thursdays.

I managed 27 pieces of Nigiri and 6 rolls. Which I took credit for the equivalent of 39 pieces of Nigiri. Pieces here are large (approx 4" for nigiri) while the rolls were standard size.

We had set a flat exchange rate of 2 pieces of Nigiri per roll - regardless of what type.

My sole opponent only managed the equivalent of 17 pieces so I did not push it.

Mason's claim of 70 pieces of nigiri alone seems way out of reach for me. I'm guessing I can get ~50 down when I am pushing it hard.
