i bought robusto's in Cuba. My dad bought Churchill. I'll take the cohibas over the churchills anyday (although the churchills are amazing).

It's pretty rare to find anything in a robusto size from Cuba... it's not a very popular size there for some reason, although it's popularity is booming here in the US. I wasn't aware that Cohiba had any black-dot robustos. You sure they weren't red-dots (non-cubans)??

Almost everything I've seen out of Cuba has been a Lonsdale, a Corona, or a Petit Corona. They seem to prefer thinner cigars (40-48 ring guage) there.

"Churchills" and "robustos" don't have anything to do with the quality of the cigar. It's just a name that's applied to a typical size of cigar. You'll find Churchills from the best cigar manufacturers in the world, and you'll find them from the worst. Has nothing to do with quality, taste, or price.

For what it's worth, I'm usually a robusto-type guy, as far as length, hand/mouth feel, and time of smoke. But, if the weather's right, I'll break out a toro and spend another half hour outside.

I know, I know... lol nostrategyinBBVaments.
