At 42 years of age, it's hard for me to digest that I can still get as affected as I have been by a sporting loss (i.e. India's ouster). Particularly given that I didn't give a damn about cricket until 2003. The last time I was this crushed about a sports result was when the Minnesota North Stars stopped the Montreal Canadiens' drive for 5 in 1980....of course, I was a just a 15 year old hockey nut then.

The worst part is that I bought the whole World Cup package and I will be tormented even more with the games on the tube without India in it. I gotta call Bell Expressvu and tell them to activate the parental controls or something on the cricket channels [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
