First of all, thankyou for sharing this.

Not only is the advice very good, but it sounds like you have a real friend there. I'm sure you know this but true friends are rare, kudos.

Secondly, if you wouldn't mind relating a bit more about your poker career it would be appreciated.

Your friend believes you have the talent for poker so it would be nice to hear how you got started and built your roll before your troubles with tilt and taking a shot at the higher limits.

Also your friend mentioned you travel for work, I assume this isn't work as in a "poker circuit" but traditional work, if you don't mind sharing, what do you do?
