Nelson Mandella? lol. Maybe for South Africans. But I bet 90% of my friends (I'm 20 years old) wouldnt know who Nelson Mandella is or what he did. I cant imagine Mandella being a big deal in China or India either.

I'm pretty sure Michael Jordan atleast WAS the most famous person in the world from 95-2000, but may have been surpassed by someone thats currently in the spotlight.
