That sounds very familiar (I mailed you earlier today?). I think we're looking at ~280 from PokerStars, I think there're a few more than that already signed up via the EPT, and there'll be lots of last minute buyins/turn up on the door buyins. So perhaps we're looking at closer to 700. That'd make the prize pool €7,000,000, which is about $9,350,000.
For comparison, the 2003 WSOP had a total pool of $7,802,700. Out of interest, does anyone know where a $9m tournament would be on a list of the biggest tournaments ever? For the year?
