IMO it just comes down to how often he folds mid pocket pairs here.

im not putting him on trips/boat hardly ever. he could have total air here every once in awhile. it could be a midish pocket pair or lastly a semi-bluff FD (lets not result-orient).

as someone else stated, another thing to consider is how often youll come over the top with anything thats not a bluff.


this is neither always spew nor always sexy...the play can be used occassionally as part of a balanced strategy.

now if you wanna talk sexy....if stacks were a lil deeper what do you think about just calling flop then CRAI on blank turns? i think this is much more representative of AA-KK. it will allow him to bet his FD again or his total air w/e and if the bet sizing gives us enough FE we could get some extra value out of it. Of course if hes smart and has a mid pp he'll check behind on turn usually and he might pick off a big bet if you fire on the river...or he might lay it down. FPS FTW!
