more gift certificates. I know that amazon is out, but how about Costco, WalMart, Target, Ikea, other big retailers. Money clips sound good too.
How about lowering the FPP threshold for the Concierge service? There just aren't very many items over $3000 that I want, but there are lots of cool things that are ~$1K. I know that Stars employees have said on here that they can buy you smaller items (like a $1K computer) and refund the difference in FPPs, but their policy is ambiguous about
a) how many FPPs you need to "trigger" the concierge service (eg if i have 62K FPPs and I want to buy a $1K computer, is that enough? or do i have to build up 186k FPPs just so that you can refund my 124k FPPs when I get the computer?); and
b) how small can an item be eligible for the concierge service?
The travel gift certificates are a great idea, and I've used them before, but in practice there are waaaayyyy too many
restrictions on how they can be used.
