Default Re: is bb/100 one big blind or 2?

For NL and PL Poker Tracker considers the BB (big bet) amount to be 2x the big blind. Thus, people typicallly refer to win rates in PTBB/100. If you are playing 1/2 NL and winning 8 PTBB/100 hands you are earning $32 (8x2x2) per 100 hands.

I'm having a hard time working this out in my head... can someone please explain this in different terms? I think I'm just having a hard time grasping this concept for some reason.

Also... I'm not very familiar with poker tracking notation. So that's probably part of my problem.

If you want a rate in $ per 100 hands just take win rate (measured in PTBB/100) and multiply it by 2x the big blind. If your playing NL with 5/10 blinds and winning at 5 PTBB/100 thats 5*10*2=$100 per 100 hands.
