At what level cash game do you think the players/competition take the game somewhat seriously.

[/ QUOTE ]
At most levels people play seriously. They just suck at lower levels. When you were at Foxwoods this weekend there had to have been horrible guys who played really nitty and though they were awesome, they weren't screwing around, but they really sucked.

What's a good level to start out at where the play isn't completely a joke. $25 NL or $50 NL? I know the play is terrible at these levels, but honestly it feels like anything below this gives me a huge headache when I try to take things seriously.

This is more of a personal question for you
What is your roll?
Why are you playing poker?
How much disposable income do you have?
Sorry to give a cop out answer, but it's true.

How long did you have to play SNG's before you started to become more than a break even player? Did you do anything differently, or was it just a natural progression over time with experience (and studying).

[/ QUOTE ]
It was a natural progression, however I would like to think I was always a winning player, but that is because I started off playing stakes like 2c sngs.
