Seems like there had been some talk come out of the Game Developers Conference on piracy. Since the legal system cant protect PC games from piracy, game developers have moved to other
more secure platforms. It seems like in the future PC games will be online enabled so that developers can validate the legitimacy of the game.
No IP protection is a cost to developers and it pushes them away from markets that cannot protect IP.
