Oh, I'm also obsessing over cooking. It seems that I always have one hobby that I power-game nonstop, and then I switch to the next hobby without looking back. The last one was poker; I read tons of books, played all the time, thought about it constantly. Now I don't play at all.

I cook almost every day, though. I'm reading 'Kitchen Confidential' and 'I'm Just Here For The Food' and 'On Food & Cooking'. I have a page marked in 'The Professional Chef', but I just couldn't handle 4 cooking books at once. I've heard good things about Shirley Corriher's book, 'Cookwise', so it's probably next. We save money by eating in so much more often, but cooking fancy pieces of meat is a way more expensive hobby than poker (which cost negative money). Hopefully I'll follow guids's lead and take-up counterfeiting next.
