OK, David I've got your next book title..
"Why Paddy is wrong"

[ QUOTE ]
Unless I draw up a load of formulae and odds on a big fat post, then my point is invalid.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, if you consider an invalid post as poorly thought out and not having much impact on the question.

[ QUOTE ]
I dont see how you can say the sb "should" push. We dont know what cards he/she has

[/ QUOTE ]
Do you see that you've answered your own question? "if you can catch this pebble from my hand grasshopper..." (Kung Fu - 1972)
[ QUOTE ]
So the fact ive won a a lot of sit n gos both live and online shows that I clearly dont know what im doing??

[/ QUOTE ] Winning is not proof that you are doing things right.
[ QUOTE ]
it's a "tricky sng question" meaning people are allowed to have an opinion.

[/ QUOTE ]
Opinions without data are just like "A-holes" everyone's got one...

Dude, let me toss you a clue. Some of the poster are the best SNG's around, PERIOD. Unless you are at the point where you've made a couple 100K playing poker you ought to try to open your mind and understand that they are right and you are wrong. In doing so you’ll change the way you approach the game and be a better player. A top GM once said about obscure openings, “there is a reason why seldom played moves are seldom played” cause they are bad… There is a reason why the minority opinion is in the minority, they are wrong too. It really is a very simple process, 1) accept that some people are significantly better than you 2) accept that what you believe to be true might be 100% wrong 3) Open yourself up to learn from others..
Or hold on to your ignorance as long as you can, at least when you do become convinced of the truth you’ll know it to be true.
[ QUOTE ]
Next you'll be arguing that players like Gus Hansen and Phil Ivey are wrong in raising or re raising with 56 off.

[/ QUOTE ] This question is rubbish, do you realize they play against each other all the time?, what is the situation? If you are going to claim that the position, blinds or other factors are random, and not part of why they raised 56o I’d suggest you read some post on metagame.
