I've been slowly working through this thread trying to pick up any nuggest of usueful insight to help out vavavoom's summary, and there's one opener I missed the first time, that no one seems to have tried. It was:

'Saw one of your pics - yummy!'

I can't see it myself, but wondered if anyone tried it, or wants to try it? For the sake of research?
