It's not something you take to get energy for a workout, it is something that you take to lose weight. It increases your metabolism and decreases your appetite. You will be guaranteed to lose weight if you take it.
The side effects are that you will piss constantly, you will sweat profusely, you will feel dizzy/lightheaded sometimes, and sometimes it just makes you feel beat. The more you take the worse the effects are and over time they will lessen. I took the ECA stack about 5 years ago and I got more ripped than I had been since I was a wrestler, but I tried taking it again last year and the side effects were too much for me so I stopped after about a week.
