Agreed. If a school is going to have gen ed requirements, they should be something like "you must at least take courses in 3 different subjects" instead of "you must take 2 semester of math, pass the 200 level of a foreign language, take a history class dealing with euro history and a country outside of europe, 2 humanities classes, 2 fine arts classes, 2 hard sciences, etc." like Tulane does. [censored] annoying. I know what I want to study, and it sure as hell isn't Russian history or psychology or any of that [censored].
