I know several people with addictive personalities, and for the most part they do fine. But they stay the hell away from Casinos.
Whether you call it an addiction, or just say 'it's my personality' doesn't matter. The behavior you've repeatedly displayed for quite some time now leads to financial ruin. You play above your head. You are susceptible to tilt, and even more likely to play above your head when on tilt. You rationalize away blatant and costly errors in judgement (I'm not talking about poker strategy here), you chase your losses, you play -EV games in an effort to chase your losses, and you seem inable to admit that any of this is a significant problem.
This is at best extremely detremental behavior, and at worst a gambling addiction. You need to quit poker.
