It's the "picture of you" part that's the problem. When a cop pulls you over, they have his first person testimony and your signature taken at the scene to establish that it was you.
With these cameras, all they have is a snapshot of someone who looks like you. No first person testimony. No signature.

Over here, if the picture is not of the owner, they will try to ask you if you who that is---you don't have to answer them, even though they will try to make you do it. A friend of mine had his wife driving and since she was not the registered owner of the vehicle, he told them to f&$D off when they asked.
Oh yeah--a loophole here is if the vehicle is issued in the name of an LLC, they cannot give you a ticket. Check the laws in your states for other such loopholes.
