I like your idea. Would you be willing to run it?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, if we had enough interest.

hrowing in some type of minor league system would be kinda cool too, if possible.

This is currently being discussed in my new league. However, for this first league if everyone likes this set up we'll start here.

clarification on one thing. If I have a number 1 draft pick and i use him as a keeper into the next season he is a keeper for one year and to keep him the next year I have to use a 1 year contract keeper on him again?

[/ QUOTE ]

A #1 draft pick will be on your team for the current season, THEN, if you wish you can sign him to a 1-yr contract he will be on your team for 1 year. Total duration on your team: 2yrs. After his contract expires he will return to the player pool.

[ QUOTE ]
But for a late round draft pick I can keep them for 5 years without using additional keepers correct?

[/ QUOTE ]

Not sure if I understand this question. Once you have signed a player to a contract, he is on your team for the duration for the contract. You will still be able to keep 2 pitchers and 2 hitters every season as long as they are within the draft-round guide lines (before or after 5th, etc).

Such as here are some of the current rosters going into this season in my league that is 5yrs running. You can guess what my team name is :
