Re: Cheapest nice rural place to live in the US ?
Actually, now that I think of it, my hometown of Gainesville is quite liberal (college town), very nice climate, gorgeous women, and has lots of small towns and rural land all around. Lots of natural beauty to enjoy (a lot less than the smoky mountains or something obv). Try near Tallahassee too, I'm sure all the same apply.
My dad just had a house built 20 miles outside Gaineville on 20 acres of oak and pine with access to a private lake. I don't know how much this property is worth but it's a lot less than a million dollars. He lives a half mile off the hard road and no one bothers him. This sounds kind of lik what you're looking for.
