I don't know, but I'm not sure anyone can deny that (at the very least) Gold played his big stack well. Yes he hit hands and yes the field basically laid down and played dead, but I was just making the point he isn't the worst player to win the WSOP (since his name was specifically mentioned).
I do think that Gold probably would lose his ass in a lot of cash games against decent players, but this wasn't a cash game, and if you can get a stack and know how to use it that at least has to count for something?
