I just played one in Detroit for the first time this weekend (waiting for my live table to open). Saw that it encouraged even worse players than normal sitting down. Plus the rake was only $4 + bbj (instead of $6 + bbj). I was shocked at how little conversation happened at the table. It was like everyone was in their own little universe.
If it wasn't for the reduced rake I wouldn't play them, but we're getting killed here in Detroit with monster rake -- so I'm willing to keep playing for now. Live play is for the cards and chips and the actual act of putting chips into the pot IMHO.
