I would bet against that. Mass appeal is for lower prices, not being nice to cows.

There was something on last night,PBS I think, about Whole Foods. At one point they mentioned introducing "animal compassionate" meat products- here is a link to their web sight explaining it.

I for one don't care so I will choose the less expensive meat everytime.
