I have not read this whole thing but has anyone tried setting up someone else instead of just trying to hit on these chicks cold?

Example:

[censored] finds a target then tells one of the other oot myspacers which chick he likes. That person then sends a message to the chick saying how his buddy has seen her profile and has not stopped talking about how cool she sounds. But he is a shy dude and is to chicken to try contacting her. Ask her to check out his profile and see if they have common interests or if she thinks he is cute. Also stress that she should not tell him that you sent this message as it would embarrass him horribly.

Bad idea?
