Davidson is just outside of Charlotte, NC

We like to say that Princeton is the Davidson of the North.

Basically what happened is all the southern boys either died in the Civil War or went to Princeton or Amherst or Williams or whatever, thus depriving Davidson of a lot of talent.

Anyway, we're consistently ranked in the top 10 liberal arts colleges in the country. We've got 1700 students. Prides itself on strong student-faculty relationships, etc. No TAs or whatnot, all full professors.
