Default Re: Tim Hardaway: \"I hate gay people.\"

[ QUOTE ]
He says he doesn't want gay people in the locker room. I'm wondering though aren't there women all over the locker room like trainers or reports or whatever that could see them showering or changing? Wouldn't this be pretty much the same thing? Or does he just think that all gay guys want to have sex with him or look at his [censored] every chance he gets and that makes him extremely uncomfortable compared to a woman who is in that position who he doesn't want to have sex with.

[/ QUOTE ]

There are women in the locker rooms but they don't go into the showers and the men can cover themselves up if they want to.

Whenever some guy says he would be uncomfortable being around gay men in the shower, everyone always scoffs as if this is the most ignorant thing in the world, then everyone insists that gay men aren't EVER checking out any of the other men, etc.

Well, what if some dorm at some college announced all the bathrooms were going coed and there was just a big community shower, and some of the women said they'd be comfortable showering with other guys? Would that be ridiculous? Why isn't that the same objection?
