HOw is it the lawyer's fault?
He didn't do anything unethical, and put forth a successful defense in a case where the facts seem to clearly be against him. Not his fault the jury bought his BS.
He wouldn't be doing his job otherwise. Personally, I think its the cop that is going to hell.
Then again, I'm in law school, and may already be jaded.
