In some hearts games, the jack of diamonds is worth -10 to your score. The queen of spades is worth +13. He's probably pissed because he forgot it hadn't been played yet. Also he had dropped the soap that morning, his wife just cheated on him, and the rap album he had just released from prison only went gold, not platinum.
