I really don't get the hate for this guy. I understand that he comes off as a bit smug and arrogant, but so do a lot of players. He was very complimentary of Doyle, and it seemed to me like everyone enjoyed interacting with him at the table.

I don't "hate" JG. But, I got the impression that only Matasow actually enjoyed interacting with him. I think all of the other players enjoyed him being in the game, simply to take his money. Some of the exchanges between JG and the other players seemed awkward to me. I got the impression that Doyle didn't feel completely comfortable with him (socially, not poker-wise), and some of the other players didn't seem in love with him either. Of course, since this opinion is based completely on edited TV clips, it may be way off base.
