Re: The Official Professional Bachelor Food Suggestion Thread
I buy about 20 bags of the trader joes frozen veggies each time I go, they have an 8 vegi medley, a stirfry medley and a broccoli/carrots/cauliflower combination that you can steam. None of these have sauces, just straight up veggies, I eat about 2 of these bags/day. My fridge is basically stocked with meat (chicken/beef), fish (frozen TJs fish various marinades) and vegetables. I eat a lot of eggs and cottage cheese for breakfast, I eat larabars and jerky as snacks, and a decent amount of almonds/walnuts/randoms. This is basically all I eat and cook everyday. This diet isn't totally new, I've always been into these types of foods, but this is the first time I've completely cut out bread/rice/pasta/potato out of my regular diet (I will eat these things when going out if I feel like it, but more and more I feel so full and ill after eating out that I don't eat out as much). Needless to say, I've lost a fuckton of weight and haven't felt this good in a while... I also started crossfitting which encouraged this diet. But yeah, I pretty much only eat this, throw in a few bananas/apples... it's pretty easy to maintain (takes me 15 mins to do grocery shopping each week, but it is fairly expensive, relatively speaking)...
The money isn't an issue for me as I have no issues with spending $ on health. I assume for a lot of you this won't be an issue either due to poker...
