Re: a lot to talk about
i have had a pretty sweet work career - involved in enjoyable and cutting edge stuff with ownership positions and good salaries etc. i have not made 6 million playing poker and have no idea if i am capable. i have thought many times about quitting real work for the chance to play poker. at this point, i have decided it's not worth it. i am too old. if i were 22, i may do it for a few years, but i have come to learn that poker money is dwarfed by business money. ownership is the simple key.
this may not be true for others, but i would be remiss if i did not also include the emotional side. i just can't imagine that the sense of accomplishment and reward i would feel from playing a great month of poker would ever compare to what i feel after some big business success, or the execution of a revolutionary idea.
