Re: PM me if interested in joining potential class action suit v. Nete

Class actions are only a scam if you have suffered sufficient damages such that it would be economically feasible to bring a suit of your own. When a company screws 10,000 people out of $10, $100, or even a $1,000 it wouldn't be worth it for individual plaintiffs to sue as the legal costs would be much higher the the amount at stake. So a class action is a good thing for those plaintiffs with small claims.

This was the logic for class actions initially. Unfortunately, this mechanism has been so abused by opportunistic lawyers that now it is pretty much a scam that if anything hurts the people it purports to help.
And frankly, if you have $1000 in neteller, is getting $50 really worth it, if it means that there is now no chance you will ever get the rest of that $950? I'd think I would just take my chances and wait.

Wait for what exactly? Last time I checked, when a company loses in court they don't go around afterward repaying in full all of those who missed out on the judgment. Also, I was saying that class actions are a bunch of crap. Thats why my advice was to meet with your own personal attorney in the event of a class action so you can preserve your right to bring your own suit.
