Re: New Year Resolutions: What and why?
My weightloss has been going well. I saw 207lbs around christmas, which was way too high. This morning I saw 193.5. (It's a digital scale. )
I've been cooking a ton more, so I worried I'd eat too much. Instead, I've been just focusing on eating as much as I should instead of as much I can. I've also been doing tons of cardio; an hour of elliptical trainer probably 5 times a week. We have a DVD player in front of the machine, so I've been getting tv-dvds through BlockbusterOnline. I'm almost through Smallville Season4 ... and Sopranos Season4. An old roommate wants to get into lifting, and he's really gung-ho about it; he's been going every single MWF for a few weeks now. He really appreciates when I can go with him, since I've been lifting for a few years. I'd be nice to get stronger again; there was a time when I maxed out bench at 325, and last Friday I could barely put up 275.
Muscle-gain will slow the falling numbers on the scale, but I just have to remind myself that the exact poundage really isn't what it's all about.

P.S. I almost forgot: I had 1 tacobell stufft burrito a couple weeks ago, and that's been my only fast food since newyears. (It was really, really good, though.)
