Can't hurt. See Tony P's post earlier. I'd try and get more directly to the point. Your current beating around the bush approach is almost as if you are afraid to fail, when in reality you shouldn't care one bit if you fail. In fact, the more spectacularly you fail, the better it is for all of us. So try being more direct and stop trying to be an internet nice guy.
