If you're after girls in Eugene or U of O alums make fun of them for being hippies. People that aren't hippies but went to the U of O or live in Eugene will get a laugh out of the whole thing. The only way it could backfire is if they actually are a hippy or super uptight but you wouldn't care for them anyway.

I've seen in OOT that you can do a pretty damn good job of it so throw some joke out to introduce yourself.
