Default Re: Peer to Peer transfer NET who do U trust ?

to summarize for the new guys (please correct me if I'm wrong):

The going rate for transfers is 5%, including fees

The peer to peer transfer fee is 1.9%

Poker Stars (and presumably other sites) is paying Neteller a 1.9%(?) transaction fee, which they absorb because they will get your action at their tables. Therefore, you must play at their tables before you cash out. This, of course, does depend on your history with the poker site.

Canadians /Euros who have their Neteller account in Canadian dollars/Euros will have to pay a conversion fee when they deposit (i.e., convert the money to US dollars) to Poker Stars, Full Tilt, etc. This fee is apparently 2.9%.

All of these fees add up to the reason Neteller will be entirely helpful in facilitating this process, if you can get ahold of them.

The posters providing this service generally have Neteller limits of 10K, 20K or 50K, depending on their history with Neteller. Those with account in Canadian $ have limits in Canadian $.

Neteller apparently has a limit on how much money can be transferred to a merchant, i.e, the poker site, 77K/week and 144K/month. I would think this also depends on the transferer's history with Neteller.

Total transfer time can range anywhere from 30 min to several hours. Depending on the amount and players involved, Poker Stars may require assurance and reassurance that a) the transfer is legit and b) that the person receiving the money knows that they must play and cannot immediately cash out.

You can check the thread for posters' endorsements of posters who are providing this service.

AS ALWAYS, CAVEAT EMPTOR!

(But I must say, what's occurred here over the last two days is almost a miracle. No, really.)
