Default Re: wsex problem solution

I just had a bad experience with WSEX and wonder if others have had similar problems. I was the BB in a 6max 3/6 limit game and was dealt 22. UTG raised and everybody called -- which is damn rare for a WSEX game. A deuce came on the flop giving me a set. SB checked, and before I could even think about whether to bet or play slow, the software immediately folded my hand. AA eventually won a $61 pot. I'd been folded out of hands by the software before, but never when it cost me $61.

WSEX was willing to refund the $6 I had invested. I understand their logic. They are ignoring the results of the hand and are returning what I actually had in the pot. The only way that is fair, however is if they ignore the results all the time and are willing to rebund my $6 even when I would have folded the hand anyway.

However, when I described such a hand to the person helping me, Holly, she refused any payment. In that hand I was 2 off the button in a 6max 5/10 limit game and was holding 98s. UTG folded, I called, button raised, SB reraised, I called the reraise and everybody else folded. 3 to the flop, and the flop comes T96 rainbox. I have middle pair and a gut shot. SB bets and the software folds me out. Button folds and SB wins without going to showdown.

This time I ask for my $15 back since the hand didn't go to showdown, and there is no way of knowing who would have won. I am told that I didn't have the best hand and would get paid nothing.

I was told that the decisions were made by the manager of the poker department, not the GM. And to be fair, when I mentioned that I thought this situation would be of interest to 2+2ers, they decided to offer me 31.50 -- half of the first pot I was folded out of. From what I have read from the GM, I think he would have found a fairer solution.

Anybody else have similar problems? Mind you, this was not a disconnect problem. The software folded me out of each hand.
