Nice, nothing L337 about it. I just didn't want to start supressing the development of opener theory by giving out a cookie cutter opener.

Right now I am thinking a simpler opinion opener like I like to use in real life is best.

Just get her opinion on some topic she'll have an opinion on. You can get this from her profile, but you don't have to tell her you did.

I am not sure if it is best to present it under the guise of randomness, or that you were just looking at profiles.

But for some quick example, "My buddy and I made a bet and we need someone random to settle it. You are random enough.

Which do you think is better fight club or rounders?"

But make the movies or whatever topic something she'll know about. It gets conversation started, and fills what I think is needed in an opener. However, I am still unsure how to overcome how weird cold messaging people is online.

It is WAY weirder than cold approaching girls in real life. Plus the girl has time to think, which is bad, you cant just abuse her confusion. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

That is working well so far.

edit to add: That particular opener is probably close to 7/10 (likely a bit less). The other 2 in the thread are probably less than 6/10, I think I was being nice.
