Communism only appeals to over-privileged nitwits who have never had to suffer actual hardship and have never known want. Show me an "Ethnic Studies" major from U/C Berkeley who is preaching against "capitalism", I can pretty much lay you 50-1 that I can describe the majority of their upbringing.

Don't bother trying to explain it to him. Such people have very little use for fact and reason if it runs contrary to their grossly idealistic view of the world.

He's definitely a helluva poker player though. I only wish I could be that good at those levels. I'm sure he's a good "anti-capitalist", lives as austerely as possible and gives all of his poker winnings to help the underprivileged ethnics of the world (when he isn't studying them)
