no worries, i'm not ashamed at all. i guess what i meant was that as he gets older, he's finding his job options more and more limited, and i feel like many things he would like to do he can't because he never finished college all those years ago. i have to admit though that this probably isn't his main problem and that i didn't phrase what i said well at all.

I get what you mean. Watching my dad busting his hump in a factory 12 hours a day, 6 days a week kinda motivated me to hit the books a little harder.
