Default Re: ***OFFICIAL AFC TITLE GAME pats @ COLTS ***

Colts had the worse Rush D ever, that week against Jacksonville obviously didn't help at all. I don't think their D is all powerful as they've seemed the last 2 weeks but I think they are improved but I wouldn't put them on the same page as the Pats D by any means. I think the Colts Pass D is very solid, I think their run D is definitely improved but 2 games as others have said isn't going to make up for 16 games of ineptitude that happened in the regular season. Bob Sanders coming back, Rob Morris being put in also doesn't hurt. What many forget the difference between the D last season which was very good, even above average to the D this year is a couple of personnel changes. Doss missed the whole season, Sanders missed all but 4 games, Simon was lost for the season, they lost David Thorton who was very solid the year before. They also had a corner playing for Sanders who was undersized on top of their other safety being a Rookie (Bethea).

Honestly, I wouldn't bet against the Pats. They are good and they have definitely had their way with luck the last 6 or so years. I'm rooting for Peyton to win 1, but I wouldn't be suprised at ALL if the Pats came in and won. Hopefully if they do win or if the Colts win it'll be a good game.
