I believe everyone will be paid, but there is a small chance things will turn sour. Regardless, many people are stressed out with the future of the industry uncertain (keep in mind Internet Gambling includes not only poker, but sportsbooks, which have been hit hard with Pinnacle closing down in the last week and others to follow shortly). This post was only created so that OP could laugh at the misfortune of others. I cannot understand why he would be motivated to make a post like this.

You are correct that this isn't exactly the same as being laid off, in that it doesn't damage one's resume. However, the short-term result is just the same for many people.
