Alobar,
Trip report please, I wanted to go there all summer but we never got round to it.

Its pretty awesome. You go in fill out some waivers and then have to watch a safety video. You have to put on one of those fire jumpsuits (When I went in phoenix tho it was so hot they didnt make us wear them, so I think they are for more "part of the experience" than "safety". A helmet and neckbrace. You have to take a breathealazier before you get in the kart too.
When I went I remember paying for some package, it was like $30 for three races, and I remember thinking, "wow, that sucks I'll only get to race 3 times".
I never even did the 3rd race cuz I was so tired from the first 2. You are zipping along at like 25 or 30mph but its open wheeled and you are so close to the ground you feel like you are doing 60mph, so its really intense and takes a ton of concentration. I think each race was 10 minutes, but it felt like half an hour. I was actually sore the next day! When its over you get a printout with all your lap times, top speed, etc. And it compares you to everyone else in your race so you can see what rank your fastest lap was and what place you finished and all that.
The actual place had other stuff to do too, there was a rock climbing wall, a huge arcade, a little "playland", pool tables a snack bar.
I went with a group of friends (male and female) and every single one of us left excitedly talking about how it was the best time ever. I definitely would recommend it to anyone whos looking for something fun to do.

Man, that sounds tight. I've been trying to get there for a while now.
Hey, anyone up for 2+2 night at the local F1? I'm down.
There's quite a faction in the Boston area, no?

I am also down.
Yeti, next time you're here I'll go to F1 if you want. When it was brought up this summer I was looking forward to it too.
