Default Re: bodog and neteller

it has long been speculated that bodog is dependent on incoming deposits to become solvent, in that it does not have rock solid financial underpinnings of the greek and cris, nor do they keep their funds in escrow or short-term guaranteed investments like neteller and pinny.

basically whatever money they have on hand they spent, on the theory that it will generate more income down the line thru additional deposits. you can witness this by seeing the ridiculous millions upon millions they spent on self-serving advertisements (bodog girls anyone?).

the fear is not that they will intentionally cut and run, but that once betting market bottoms out due to the current regulations, their incoming deposit wells will dry up and they don't have the funds in reserve to be able to pay out everyone who currently still have funds in their account. think of it as a glorified pyramid scheme
