Default Re: **Official uNL Microbrew thread: January (nc)**

[ QUOTE ]
I'm only posting these hands because I'm going through the largest downswing ever and I'm just trying to get some support. Isn't this what this thread is for? Basically BBV?

First of all, I'm sorry to hear about your struggle. Keep "eating, sleeping, fighting, fighting, fighting until you too tired to think," and you will get out of the swing eventually. I've been there only recently (-26 buyins over roughly 15k hands), and I know how hard it is to sit through. Take this time to review your biggest pots, grab a calculator, pokerstove and a few beers and do the math. See if you were making +EV plays (aka "getting most of your money in ahead") and where you could've done better. Once the swing ends you'll be a stronger, better, and tougher player.

Back to my initial post:
This thread is for anything "that's not strategy", or something like that (I don't know the definition by heart). So, technically, anything could go in here. It's just that if I look at SSNL cheese as example, they've got a lot other random content that's not being posted in conjunction with a hand history. They've got many hand histories, too, but it seems more balanced with other weird/funny/strange posts.

Don't get me wrong, it's only my opinion that there are too many hands posted in here, and I'm but only one member of the community. It's just that I think it's a tad too much of hand history bitchings.
Neither am I the authority to set the standards let alone rules for this thread - that's the job of our very capable mods. I just wanted to point out what I believe may be amiss.
