Default Re: Neteller Founders arrested

[ QUOTE ]
The fact that Neteller is a Member of the FSA is what makes having your money with them so safe. There is zero chance of a loss unless there was some massive internal fraud going on, (the prevention of which is one of the main reasons for the existence of the FSA), that had nothing to do with and was coincidental to the current situation.

On the other hand, there is zero protection if you have your money with an offshore internet poker site. The site may not go bust in the next day or two, but if they felt they had a reason to hold your money, they would, and you would have no way on Earth to get it back.

IMO.

Yeah Mike, i realise that point, but at the end of the day if something does happen they could easily have to audit all the accounts, which means freezing all transactions with the accounts.

Id rather have cash stuck on pokerstars, which i dont see going anywhere, rather than frozen on neteller.

By the end of the day we will know more, thats for sure.
