Re: Aussie Millions Updates on 2+2\'ers
Adam from the room (during break)
My image is ridiculous, and I'm spewing - and currenntly down to 50k. Next level will be 300/600/75 and this one swedish guy is giving me problems.
Anyways, here's a fun recap....
I chip up to around 40k, have a decent table image, etc etc.
so, i don't play a hand for a few orbits and decide to pwn some limpers. I have 98s in the BB and raise to 1600 after 3 limpers. Only utg limper calls.
flop is Ts 7s 5s
I bet out like 3k, he calls.
Turns a Qc, I bet 7.5 he makes it 15k, I tank and fold.
So that leaves me with like 28k
2 hands later I open AA from the button to 1200, SB calls.
Flop is T85 with 2 diamonds.
He checks, I bet out 1,800 - he makes it 5k, I shove he folds.
Next hand I open 72o from the CO to 900, BB defends.
Flop is 6-8-5 with 2 clubs.
He checks, I bet 1,800 he calls.
Turns a 9c.
Check, check.
River is a 6, pairing the board. He bets 3k, I insta call and happily flip over 72 ftw.
Very next hand I get KK in the CO+1, open for 900, SB calls.
Flop is J89 2 clubs.
Check, Check.
Turns a 9.
Check, I bet 2,200
River's a 6, he checks, I bet 3.5k, he calls and loses (mucked hand after i turned over KK too quickly, w/e)
So then i come back from break, immediately get 4 bet by the swedish guy when i try to resteal from the sb.
Very next hand I open A9o from the button to 1200. SB with 23k-ish to start raises to 5k, I 4-bet jam.
A9 > AK
75k or so.
From then on I've been leaking away some chips and this break is a good thing for me....need to gather myself.
Some of this stuff (bet sizing) is prob off by a little, but mainly wanted to clarify how the A9 hand went down.
